Just came home from having lunch here. Needless to say I will not be in need of any supper tonight.
I ordered a chicken sandwich with peameal bacon and it had 3 huge slices of bacon along with the chicken. I was only able to eat half. Order the little guy a hot dog and it was a foot long. Very happy little boy.
Service was as always friendly and the owner is awesome.

The Rainbow is an awesome place. I've been going there for years- even though I don't live anywhere near Oshawa. This is some of the best and most authentic Canadian diner cuisine you can get. Huge portions, excellent quality, and speedy service make the place well worth going to every time. Everything is nostalgic and comfortable from the oldies music to the vintage diner bar. I love this place.
