Our visit was fantastic! The pizza is definitely the best in town and the service was excellent. I love that fact that everything is homemade. Mama Alfa makes all of her guests feel like they are part of her family. The experience is great right from the time you walk in the door up to when you are saying your goodbyes. I recommend Mama Alfa's Pizzeria to anyone who loves great food and a neighborly atmosphere.

We were visiting my parents from Ottawa and they brought us to Mama's since they frequent it often. We were personally served by Mama and enjoyed a wonderfully delicious, homemade meal (fresh pasta!!) We don't even know where to go in Ottawa for homemade pasta! The BEST caesar salad, loved the dressing. Would love to go again.

We went for some pizza; we got great food and we got Mama Alfa, a treasure. We went back on our return trip and made friends. This restaurant is the hidden secret of Thunder Bay.
Passing through Thunder Bay, we found the restaurant through google maps and chose them because they had a website. After an interesting phone conversation to order the pizza, I took it upon myself to pick it up. I met Mama Alfa and her husband - both very nice. The marinara pizza was delicious (the only wish would have been for fresh basil). The kids liked their pizza too.
