Pierre is indeed a very knowledgeable and capable technician. Unfortunately, like the other reviewers in this trail, he took my appointment weeks earlier, drove up and then backed out and drove away. After I called the office a couple of times, hours later he called to advise he doesnt want to do it. You cant be too moody in business in my opinion. He cleaned my chimney in the past, but you can see the pattern here in these reviews. Very disappointed.

I went in to buy a new blower for a fireplace they had installed for the previous owner. Pierre was very rude and wanted to sell me something with a part missing. Dont eeven consider them.

Nous avons eu une experience tres desagréable avec les gens et les services de Cheminee Chelsea; nous ne recommandons pas leur service. Ces gens ont des deficiences flagrantes en communication. Ils n'ont aucun service apres-vente et ils ne prennent aucune responsabilites pour leur travail. Le foyer a ete mal installé le mur du salon a ete refermé sans isolation causant de fortes condensations sur le mur interieur. Avons du engager un ingenieur en batiment pour corriger les travaux.

Pierre is so rude to his customers. I booked him for a chimney sweep at my cottage in Blue Sea, QC. He accepted the job. I live in Ottawa. I made the 1 1/2 hr drive to my cottage the night before to be there to receive him. He calls me at 8am in the morning on the day of our appt. to just simply say - he is not coming & does not even offer an excuse why! I have now taken a vacation day from work for no reason. He has no consideration for his customers. Do yourself a favour pls look elsewhere.

Warmer, Safer and saved a great deal of money this past winter. I would highly recommend Chelsea Chimney sweep to install a woodstove for a much easier winter. They were professional, helpful and did an excellent job installing my woodstove. My propane bills went from $1857 for the winter of 2014-2015 heating to $487 with $400 spent on wood for 2015-2016. The owner is always available if there are any questions. Thank you Chelsea Chimney Sweeps!

We would NOT recommend this guy to anyone. He was rude to my girlfriend and I and would not provide any information and advice on how to proceed with a chimney job, even though we were simply asking how he would proceed when we hired him. He accused us of wanting to steal his ideas and didn't want to provide an estimate. Not very nice for someone who is local. Try Black Cat Chimney instead.
