Red Sail Restaurant & Tavern

We went for the Sunday Brunch. The service was unbelieveable. We felt like we were treated like family when we came through the door. Everything we ate was delicious. The only minor complaint I could give is that they could update the decor to make the atmosphere more appealing. Other than that, everything was amazing and we will be back again!

We came from Lansing Michigan on a recommendation from friends. It was well worth the trip and the owners took our pictures and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent, and we will definitely return again. I consider this restaurant a Windsor landmark, and highly recommend it to anyone.

We've been frequenting the Red Sail for well over...

We've been frequenting the Red Sail for well over 10 years and have never been disappointed. (For us a minor complaint is that the drinks were too cold!) Staff is friendly and welcoming. Tables can be cosy or accomidate a large group. The restaurant is clean, the food fresh and tasty! It is a more relaxed atmosphere... more casual and comfortable. Food is served on platters as you'd expect with Chinese cuisine. We go whenever we are in the city. (Just know your dishes as with any ethnic eatery so you can avoid surprises...unless you are open to them.)

The overall experience was a very enjoyable one. The restaurant is well designed and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. There was no great concern other than feeling that the presentation of the food can be improved. Visual presentation in cuisine is quite important, for the food must appear appetizing. Nonetheless, it tasted great and the portions are adequate. The restaurant is also quite versatile - family or business meeting. It can also accomodate large parties. They seem understaffed with could compromise the quality of service.
