The Estate Banquet and Event Centre

Thank you so much Jeet for being such a hardworking, professional and kind hearted person. Everyone has been great to work with and Jeet has been there to answer all the questions this nervous bride had. He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests to make our day perfect, there were even some wonderfully unexpected surprises sprinkled throughout our day.All our guests had an incredible time, the room was impeccable, the food was delicious and the service beyond our expectations!

Words cannot explain what an extraordinary Event you planned for V/R.G.M.V alumni Association Canada Dinner night, you exceeded our expectations. We couldnt have pictured it any better. We sincerely appreciated your guidance and support and professionalism. You guys were wonderful and took a lot of stress off our shoulders. The food was simply to die for, it had everyone talking about how delicious it was! Yummy ?

Group seating for 20 - Service exceptional

Our group of 20 were very satified with the service and food. We were all served and completed in a reasonable timeframe. The attention to service was great from the order taking to the meal presentation to the refilling of the water glasses to the clearing of the dishes. I would recommend for casual dining, 4 to 6 people or group functions from 12 to 20 people.

Restaurant Has Great Food

I have read some of the other reviews and I was shocked to read what was there. I have been to this restaurant several times and have never experienced anything like what those reviews say. What I am guessing is that those reviews were before the restaurant changed hand to new younger owners. Under their ownership both the restaurant and the banquet halls have been renovated. I will agree that this is still no gourmet restaurant. It is a premier family restaurant, as it states on its web page, and the prices reflect that. I don't mind if my salmon is not lying on a bed of greens or if there is a little drop of gravy on the edge of the plate. The food tastes great. I asked for the salmon to be cooked well done and what I got was a beautiful cooked salmon with a golden crust. When I cut into it, it was still moist and steaming!!! Last Saturday I had the prime rib. It was cooked perfectly. I did not even need a knife. One thing I did notice was that the fries were a bit cool, but that was kind of my fault because I ate them last. I asked the waitress for fresh fries expecting her to say no, but a few minutes later she came back with a fresh plate. The service was excellent. I will certainly be back for more of that prime rib.
