I visited Masamune for the first time this April...

I visited Masamune for the first time this April and was very pleased with the outcome. Many of the coworkers told me that it is a very busy spot which they frequent at lunch time. I went with my husband at dinner time and enjoyed a delicious dinner. I had the Sakura Dinner combination which was a special dinner including many different things. My meal began with some premium cuts of sashimi, followed by lobster tempura, then the main course which was beef teriyaki served on a sizzling plate. It doesn't end here! I was also treated to a very delicious scoop of black seaseme ice cream for my desert(you've got to try it- soo good!) It was my first visit and I must say that I will definetly be coming back for some more!

Great Japanese Restaurant on close to the airport...

Great Japanese Restaurant on close to the airport strip. They have a full sushi bar as well as three private tatami booths which accomodate up to eight people. Nice atmosphere and definetly one of the cleanest restaurants I've been too! I'd return again for the hamachi sashimi!

The food here is good, better than most Japanese restaurants I have been to in Mississauga. The decor gives it a more authentic look and feel, and the service is good.

Being a novie sushi eater, I was delighted to...

Being a novie sushi eater, I was delighted to discover that Masamune has many different Maki (Rolls) to try. The four of us shared a Dragon Maki which consisted of two tempura shrimps rolled up with eel, salmon, tuna, and tobiko on the top, sprinked lightly with a sweet unagi sauce. While i was nervous to dig into it, seeing that I had never tried the Unagi eel before, I was pleasently suprised to discover that it was fantastic! I am now hooked on the dragon maki.. Other delicious makis to try include the spicy tuna or salmon and the tempura soft shell crab roll!
