Love this place now that it's been redone!
The service is a little slow, but not annoyingly so. If a waitress notices you need something, they get it, they don't make you wait for your server.
Nachos are good, they have great meal sized salad choices now, and the sandwiches were tasty.
The desserts were a little lacking....as in 1 of us ordered something they didn't have so she got her 2nd option but then when another girl came to join us and ordered the other girls first option they all of a sudden had it in stock...it was a bit weird but we still enjoyed every bite!
I love this place for the fabulous patio and the fantastic indoor decor! The Gavel has come a LONG way... The food was alright, the service was pleasant enough. There was a 'situation' in the kitchen so our food took a good hour to come to the table, at least we were served our drinks... Our waitress assured us she 'did not forget to place our food orders'. Either way we always have a great time here!
