More than just a skier's haven, The Skier’s Sportshop has also been providing snowboards and snowboard services since 1963. Started by George McAvoy and friends, the shop moved from Calgary to Edmonton and has been a wintertime staple on Whyte Avenue ever since.
Customers can also find a huge selection of outdoor clothing and gear for warm and wet seasons, including base layers and hiking shoes. The staff have plenty of advice on how to best enjoy mountain environments all year round.
