Went there with 2 friends, the host at the front door was great, smile held the door, sat us withen 4 min there was a small wait but it was dinner time. Some big over weight lady was kinda rude to the server tho, people that are in a bad mood should stay home, stop trying to dump on others. Go on a diet. Have lived in the area for years and Slurp n Burp has always been my favorite spot for breakfast. Good food, good service, bottomless coffee and fabulous location with outdoor patio overlooking lake. Technically a greasy spoon but they don't get any better than this. Largely a secret of the locals. Lire plus

Theyre the most polite people and man do they make fantastic pizza, poutine and garlic bread. Id really love to give them a 5 star but my only complaint is the price and even though it might be steep you really do get what you pay for.Also recommend they go with loaf bread for the garlic bread the slices are great but I feel that the given 8 might be a tad slim and even if they have to up the price a tad for a loaf I guess thats fine as well. This place was bustling on the beautiful sunny day we headed over, and I now know why. Everything about this place was great! The server was smiley and took great care to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was fresh and tasty, and sitting outside in the fresh air with the lovely park and lake view was unbeatable. The french fries are so good, they don't need ketchup! If you pass by, make sure you take the time to stop here. It's well worth a detour, too, to be truthful. Lire plus

The food here is your standard family diner fare in terms of quality, nothing special, but the selection is quite varied, Greek food, Italian, English/North American, basic burgers, I can't see anyone going here and not being able to find something they like. But above all is the location, right beside the falls. Sure, when eating on the deck it makes whispered conversation a wee bit difficult, but it's a good noise that's relaxing rather than annoying. I am confused by the "American" designation, since it is clearly German, right down to the delicious spaetzle and red cabbage. (You can only get the red cabbage if you ask, it isn't on the menu.) The schnitzels are very good, with ample portions. (We have never tried the homemade desserts -- too full!) The meat is tender and set off well by the fine breading. My husband has tried every schnitzel on the menu, and has a hard time declaring a favourite - he enjoys them all. The coffee is very good, the warm bun that comes prior to the meal is a nice treat. The service is usually very pleasant. A little more than a standard lunch in terms of cost, but worth it. Lire plus

I run a fishing tournament in town each year, and this is our breakfast spot. Truth be told, it's really the only place in town that's open at an early hour, but they don't seem to take advantage of that. what can i say,,we absolutely love judy's place..we visit regularly and know the staff by first name. The staff are super nice and never have a problem substituting orders for my kids. The owner and cook always brings out a complimentary bowl of chocolate chip cookies for my kids everytime we eat there. the food is fantastic and the prices are great! as for decor, iv seen some other somewhat negative remarks in regards to it , but even tho its clearly not done by a interior designer, its comfortable and bright. You gotta love when you can go into a place and say i'll have the usual and the waitress knows exactly what and how you like it prepared. i definately recommend eating at judy's. Yep, its really that great! This is one of those staples in Lindsay, right on the main street, kinda small and understated; but once you've eaten here you will always come back. Jane's menu is simple, and enjoyable. Everything is always great, service included. They are very accommodating, and fairly priced. Others have complained about the decor, but I think it adds to the "Kountry Kitchen" charm. Also, anywhere that does an "all day breakfast" is good with me Lire plus
