We stopped in on Friday night to grab a coffee and decided to have a piece of cake. Although the cakes are not made there they are absolutely to die for. I got the white hot chocolate which was amazing, although you did have to stir it fairly often to keep the hot chocolate mix from settling out of it. There is a ton of interesting art work on the walls and the music is great, I would definitely recommend this place. Lire plus

We went for dinner recently as we live in the area and love the Wooly for its atmosphere, choice of beers on tap etc....I just really wish that the food was better..as I remain quite surprised at the overall 'averageness' of the entrees here. Yes, they use locally grown, organic ingredients...I get and support that..but the portion size and flavour leave me unimpressed. Service is always great...and the beer is plentiful and cold...but I think I'll just start going there for beers and maybe fries (which can be hit and miss)...there are just much better places close by (IMO) to get a better pub meal. I will say that of our three meals...mine was the best..a traditional chicken burger with salad..the house dressing was nice. Based on our experience I would not recommend the Cobb salad (very small portion and was drenched in ranch dressing) or the chicken tenders which were just average. Lire plus

Incredible service 100%. The sticky toffee pudding is TO DIE FOR. Their mussles are so good that my 10yo orders them every time we were there. Yeah, that’s right, a 10yo. The same kid who won’t even look at a pizza if it has touched pizza sauce. During COVID, the service standard has been consistently amazing. Even with all the obstacles the food is so delicious, and now THEY DELIVER, which is so much better than pizza every night. Best place to call if you’re looking for exceptional service Lire plus

The food always seems to be good in my experience here. I typically order pulled pork poutine (very good, unique), burgers, wraps, etc. I've never been disappointed during my somewhat extended history of visiting the pub. The decor is very busy, typical of brit pubs here, and the service is friendly and timely, not overbearing. Food waiting times are suitable and I've never heard anyone in my party of regulars complain of flat beer, dirty glasses, or hair in their food, as other reviews here indicate. They do have a patio, albeit small and fills up fairly quickly during lunch hour or immediately after work. Lire plus

I enjoyed working at this location for several hours. No one harrassed me about using the table for so long and the food was tasty and healthy so I didn't feel like I'd overindulged. That is, until a young Williams representative approached me and gave me a free Belgian Waffle slathered in ice cream. I had driven by this downtown georgetown pub many times without even noticing it was there, so when a friend suggested we go in for a few beers, I was surprised that I hadn't heard of this place before! The beer list was mostly new to my eyes. They offer a huge selection of local microbreweries, which are surprisingly delicious! We ordered the fish and chips as we sipped on beer that had been brewed no more than 40 km from where we were sitting. The food took a bit of time, but this is definitely no fast food restaurant.... The fish, which we were told was freshly beer battered in the kitchen, was the best we'd ever tried. This would not be my last visit. After coming in for the past year, I've noticed that this pub is at times understaffed, service can be delayed due to volume, but this is also a place to come and take your time. Don't come in expecting to have a quick meal in time to make a movie...This pub was created for people to come in and forget about the hustle bustle of their day to day lives! Lire plus
