Since moving here six years ago, a number of major capital projects have been completed including renovations to the balconies, replacement of the elevators (all 3!), and the electrical backup generator. Neighbours here are especially friendly and the view is genuinely spectacular. My wife is the envy of her friends.
I won't comment on the vitriol I read in the only other review to-date except to say that you only get out of a thing what you put into it.

I recently moved here, and I love it. Administration people are charming and always available. I have a breathtaking view which brings my review to a 5 star. The building is in the perfect location according to universities, busses, and downtown. The parking levels are a bit creepy but nothing to be scared of. I am living beside the elevators and have never heard a noise! I had to do a big clean-up when I got here, but there are no bugs or what's so ever.

I don't have an item or specific occurrence to write about I just have my day to day interaction with Dave and Cameron and Don when he worked here. they are always happy to see me and they are very reactive to my needs and help. I feel good enough about them that when there was a fire and I noticed that the entire staff had come in early and felt that they could do with a coffee so I went and got some for them all. and after the fire, they came by twice and asked if I was okay and if there was a

I am reading some of the other reviews that are on. I have lived here happily since May 2012. Someone mentioned rats, I had 1 tiny mouse and when I called, someone came and filled in the holes with expanding foam, that was in 2014, no problems since. The maintenance staff take excellent care of the inside and outside of the building. People complaining about the rent increase, please read the landlord tenant act, they are allowed to increase 2.5%/year. Ideal location, well maintained.

Vivre ici est très bien, malgré quelques inconvénients vécus avec le concierge de l ancienne administration qui m a donné beaucoup de «fil à retordre» et des problèmes au tout début.
Mais la nouvelle administration est significativement meilleure, et tout est vraiment mieux et bien maintenant!

Having lived here for over 5 years now, I can say its been great considering the fair price. The building is cleaned often, and the elevators have never been broken. When I needed maintenance in the apartment (leaky faucets, broken oven, etc), they sent a repairman within a few hours. Ive never had an issue with the parking situation, as I pay for 2 spots (50 ea) in the parking garage, where there is ample room for tenants that are willing to pay the nominal fee for covered (!) parking.

Location is always kept clean, and management is friendly. Laundry facility has a couple of machines that don't work properly, but most are fine. Good area right on the transitway, and all essentials are in walking distance.

We recently moved in and are very happy with the apartment, but certainly with the landlord. Extremely helpful, accommodating and welcoming. The apartment is newly painted, clean and in a wonderful location. The price is super also.

Good customer service at their new sales office on rideau. They took me up to the model unit at their newest building downtown, and it had better upgrades included than most of the other new condos I've seen downtown Ottawa so far... will probably buy one soon

If you're looking for a nice, clean, affordable apartment in downtown Ottawa, then this is your place. I recently moved back downtown from the bubrs, and I am so glad I did - I've been enjoying downtown life again! Centre Town Place is located close to all amenities - grocery stores, office buildings, the Byward Market and Elgin street restaurants and nightlife - you name it. Yet it is quiet, safe and clean. Specifically, the management is superb: friendly, helpful, professional, etc. I like being able to walk to work in the morning instead of commuting for forty minutes or more. I would highly recommend Centre Town Place (to anyone who will be a good neighbour, of course).
