Disappointed!!!
We chose Photography By Laurel to do our wedding nearly 3 years ago, after being at 2 weddings that she had done and being happy with the photos they had taken. We met with Laurel and she was very pleasant and helpful and I was quite excited about having her do our photos. When the actual day came, she was hurried and rushed, didn't seem to care what I wanted or what poses I had previously chose and went over with her. We didn't get that many photos taken because she was so hurried and on the day I was disappointed with her professional and photography skills. When we received the photos and photo CD in the mail a month after the wedding, I was horrified to see red eye, off center photos and blurriness. When we politely mentioned this to the photographer, she quickly got angry and defensive, asking us and if we thought we were professional photographers and in the end, she was very rude and abrasive and I was deeply disappointed with the photos. I don't know if she was just having an off day, because the other two weddings I was in that she photographed, the photos were quite lovely. Even so, if she had an off day, now I have to have those photos for the rest of my life. It would have been a different story had she apologized and offered to do a few retakes or gave us a small discount. I would not recommend her, based on the fact that you just never know what you will get and I wouldn't be willing to take the chance!
