This is not our first visit and, as with other visits, did not disappoint. Grilled calamari was as it should be. Mussels appetizer is simply the best we have ever had. One could make a full meal out of it by dipping a loaf of bread in the sauce. But it's best to make room for the entrees. Venison was quite good, cooked exactly as requested. Veal Chop was melt in your mouth. Finished off with Creme Brulee - another favourite at this restaurant. If you're looking for great food in Durham, equivalent of anything in the City of Toronto, and great atmosphere, try Bella Notte (make reservations) - you won't be disappointed.

I think the people putting bogus reviews of this restaurant should at least get the correct meneu. The food here is great... I have been here quite a few times and have never had a complaint about the food. The service is good, they remember you when you go back and are freindly and outgoing. There is no bartender as the servers make all the drinks and I have never had a problem when I have ordered various cocktails. So overall this is one of the best Restaurants I have been to in awhile and I would go back again and again....

I first wish to state that if some people are annoyed by someone using profanity at the table next to them, or if the restaurant happens to be crowded at the time they are there & the waiter (understandably) seems a bit stressed, GIVE THE PLACE A CHANCE & GO BACK ANOTHER TIME!! HAVE SOME PATIENCE - PLEASE!! This restaurant is simply the best in Whitby & the meals are simply wonderful. We are never rushed to order & can truly relax here. The waiters treat us with nothing but respect. For anyone having a bad time here, maybe you went on a busy weekend? Try the middle of the week - it's certainly worth it!!
