My husband and I visited there last nite December 6,2019 at 5:30pm hoping to have dinner there. There was a middle aged hostess there when we walked in. She didnt approach us right away only looked at us. When she did we asked for a table and she said veryrudely... I can’t seat you, I don’t have any room. And when I asked her when can we be seated cause we’ll wait she said.... I don’t know we’re busy. I couldn’t believe my ears!! Not even hello, sorry, nothing!! I will never go again!!!
I was looking forward to some traditional Pub Grub on Friday evening. I ordered mild "Wings" and I have to say they were the worst wings I have ever had. I am very easy going as well as reasonable, HOWEVER these "Wings" are worth the warning for future patrons.
I have been to the Arms many times. My favourite menu item is the chicken bacon wrap. They have fantastic Greek salad. The food overall I think is great.
The service is consistently bad. The servers are rude, they don't smile much and act as if they could care less that you are there. I don't frequent this restaurant anymore for this reason alone. It's really too bad because the food is actually good.
A couple of pretty waitresses in this pub... nothing special. They dress em in cargo pants. Jee, thanks. The girls had potential. Had a beer and left. The decor is kinda spartan.
Decent for a pub. Service isn't the best but the BLT chicken wrap that i always order never disappoints. The greek salad is also great. I would not reccommend sitting inside, the patio is the place to be. I go for lunch at the arms at least once a week, I'll continue to as long as the BLT wrap remains delicious!
This restaurant is a great favorite of mine and my friends. I have eaten here many tens of times over the years (usually lunch, with beer, on the patio) - in attendance with a variety of company from business associates to friends - and I find the pub-style fare plain but good, with the service never anything but informally top class. The servers tend to be playful and intelligent, and I simply do not relate to the negative comments entered here.
Ordered coffee to start. Asked for milk and sweeteners and the grey haired server was extremely rude and admonished us as if we were children for not having requested these when ordering the coffee. Her attitude was certainly not becoming of a waitress let alone a lady and we walked out, left the coffee untouched, never to return. DISGUSTED
Terrible Restaurant! FIrst of all it was tiny, secondly the washroom was worse then a public transportation stations washroom, no soap, no toilet paper and the door was broken... I will never visit agvain

when i have friends come in from out of town i always give myself a break from the kitchen and take them to the unionville arms for their saturday nite special or whatever delicious meal is on their menu. this pub in unionville is one that i visit frequently being a local. i am not an easy person to please and expect quality and have always got it at unionville arms. service can be slow when busy but what restaurant doesnt experience this problem. bottom line the food is top notch in my opinion and is the most important. nothing like going out for an evening without your kids and being disappointed. you will not find that at the unionville arms. luv luv luv it
The food was average and the service was atrocious. We waited 15 min to place our order then the food took another 30 min plus. When asked if our food would be served shortly the waitress (older, short grey hair, named Sue) threw a hissy fit. Major attitude, clearly can't handle the stress of a busy weekend afternoon, should not be working in customer service. We used to love this restaurant and ate there quite frequently. We will NEVER eat there again. This is the first time in the 14 years that my husband and I have been together that we did not leave a tip.
Not pleased at all with the customer service. Left-overs were wrapped in saran and didn't include everything that was left-over. The main hostess (older woman, short and grey hair, with spectacles) should not be working as a frontline customer service person! We used to frequent this pub a lot but this experience today has changed that for always! Good luck!
I frequent alot of pub for karaoke and i must say, this place ROCKS... The wait staff were great, The KARAOKE system sounds like studio quality with a huge selection of music. I will be making this my new favourite place...

This is an excellent pub-style restaurant emphasizing simplicity and informality to elegance, and, as such, has straightforward pub fare nicely cooked and presented. Staff are particurlarly friendly. Excellent patio in the summer.
I visit with many different people (normally in pareties of 2 or 4) from different, and everyone likes this pub/restaurant very much indeed.
The Thai Chicken wrap was wonderful - lots of flavour but not overwhelming and tons of tender meat and veggies. The red wine vinegar dressing on the salad was zingy without being to acidic. Overall, a fantastic lunch!!!
