So often people forget to voice the positive! I noticed that a lot of comments are kind of negative! Yes, DeGroot’s is expensive. I only buy what I can plant myself (not rich) but always have been pleased with their friendly service and guarantees. DeGroot’s is a huge operation. They DO have to pay all their employees a decent wage to run a business of this high standard.
DO NOT GET LANDSCAPING DONE AT DEGROOTS!!
I hired Degroots to redo the whole back yard of my estate sized house. I gave John Detroit my budget. They did great work, however when it came to the bill, it was $12000 more than my maximum budget. Beware and pay attention to the choices you agree to because they gave me choices but never once told me it would affect my budget. They did great work, don’t get me wrong, but tried to put one over on me when they handled the bill. If they do your work pay attention
a few years ago I was looking to do a placement to complete my diploma in Biotechnology and I thought Degroots would be a good place.the lady that came to talk to me was very rude. She showed little interest in my studies and cut me off when I tried to explain my course to her. She then pointed at a plant in a costumers hand and told me to name the plant and how to take care of it. I didnt say anything because I was put on the spot. She told me I was stupid and not worth the company time
I found the products and the service wonderful highly recommended me and my friend went to ask them about insect treatment they spent more than 10 mints to decide which medication will suit us more very nice to see such businesses trying their best to satisfies their customer and I bought from them plants and trees doing really good in my backyard I love this business
Absolutely disappointed wit their products and service. Bought a small bag of grass seed and then after bought the largest bag with less than 40% of the seeds germinated. I want to return what's left of the large bad and they won't allow me. Next bought top dressing soil which is completely garbage. It's full of stones, plastic, and weeds. Waste of money and time!
