The Wong family make dining at their restaurant feel like going home. They are gracious, generous, friendly and happy people who always make us feel so welcomed. The food is THEE BEST Chinese food in Ottawa; it is fresh; pleasantly presented and the taste is never a disappointment.

I don't know what's so appealing about this place.....

I've visited this place on two separate occasions, both time the food was horrible. Now granted the eggs rolls are the best in Ottawa the rest of the food is way way below part. The batter on the chickens balls falls off immediately once you stick your fork in them. The curry chicken is insipid and has very little chicken in it. Not to mention the decor in this place has not been updated in 30 years. Besides the occasional eggroll takeout I've taken my business elsewhere.

Very enjoyable dinner

Since Wayner Wong opened here after spending years working at the Golden Palace, I have been a regular. Recently brought my family there for dinner. There were 12 of us including a couple of very young children and we all had a fabulous dinner and evening. We have these family get togethers a few times a year and always go to Wongs. My wife and I also visit Wongs as well as my nephews and I. Several of my oldest friends and I generally go there for lunch and have done so for years. The food, the service is terrific. I do not care about the decor so long as it is clean, which it is. Everyone always tells me how much they have enjoyed the meals and most end up coming back on their own. This is one terrific place.

Have been going here for 20+ years; always good food and exceptional service. Great value for the price. Staff is always friendly. Food portions are more than enough.
