Good value for your money. I have been here several times.I have tried the cod, haddock and the halibut,the later being the best. I have not tried their regular fish, menu does not state what type of fish this is.
Can't take being called "Mam" over and over.
I love going here for lunch but can't take being called Mam repeatedly by one of the waitresses! It's not only me, she does it to everyone, regardless of age, but it's excessive and annoying. I decided to count on one of my 30-minute visits and got to the 10th time being called "Mam" as I left. Here's your food Mam. Would that be all mam. Thanks mam. X 10. Gah!!!!
The restaurant has plenty of seatings and during peak lunch time, it isn't too loud. Decor is filled with fish, lighthouse and boat pictures and objects which is a good atmosphere however I find that the lighting is a little too dark.
I always order the Two piece battered fish with it's great crisp tasting fries and the so-so coleslaw that comes with it. The battered fish is good and enjoyable but I've had better.
The waitresses are pleasant and professional and the service is fairly quick and I don't have to ask for them to substitue the tartar sauce for the plum sauce anymore, which is an added bonus for me.
I go to this restaurant at least once a month and I enjoy it quite well, again great consistency.

Was disappointed when I showed up to pick up my food after 15 minutes (quoted 10min) and had to sit and wait 15 more minutes. I was shocked when I heard it was $40 for just the two of us but they had doubled our order. Thankfully it was corrected without question. There was plenty of food but the quality was lacking. I ate more fried batter than fish!

The staff is very friendly, although I overheard the waitress telling other patrons about how many shrimp I had eaten on other Saturday evening visits, but I don't mind becuase it made me feel like a celebrity even if it is for only 2 minutes. The shrimp were fresh and delicious. I just wish that you were allowed to order "cajun" as part of the "all you can eat shrimp". All in all a great dining experience. I will be back there again and again.

I have no complaints about what I ate except for the garlic shrimp, DO NOT ORDER IT!
I can't believe they actually assumed I would eat such a disgusting side dish. I can tell you with accuracy that the shrimp was definatly pre cooked shrimp used for dipping in cocktail sauce and paired with pre chopped preserved garlic. No butter, no seasoning and no parsley or anything like that just a bland and poor display of serving shrimp. I will never order it again.
I also think because their menu is 80% deepfried they shoud consider useing zero trans-fat oil. If they already do they arent letting us know about it.
