I was really pleased with David’s advice and service. He went above and beyond. He dealt with our Wasp problem and then helped fix other areas of the home against potential pest issues. He is a real expert in his field. I would recommend him to anyone.

I am a landlord that has had the misfortune of bed bugs and roaches. After hiring other companies, due to timing,in which they did not resolve the issue and were fully paid, I contacted Dave, owner of Paramount Pest Control who was extremely helpful during this very stressful period for both myself and my tenants. Perhaps the worst customer service I've ever received in my life. Four appointments missed over 4 days. On Tuesday, he called to cancel because he claimed someone broke into his truck. On Wednesday, an hour after he was supposed to arrive he called to say that he was stuck in Kingston. On Thursday, complete no show. No call either. On Friday we called (he was already late)and he said he was on his way. He never showed, didn't call, nothing. Totally untrustworthy.
Dave understands the pride that people have in their homes, and the stress of trying to protect your family from pests. He approaches each job with those understandings in mind. Dave goes above and beyond with his services, and I highly reccomend him.
I've had occasion now to call Paramount on 3 different issues over 2 different properties in the past several years. First occasion an impossible to access wasp nest. Second occasion carpenter ant infestation 2 years ago and finally third occasion recently for outdoor infestation of pavement ants under my front door. WOW what an amazing service I received from Dave. I had hired another company in Ottawa to get rid of my bed bug problem. After 2 sprays it was like they hadn't even been touched. (as well as $850 and them not wanting to return) I knew I needed to find someone who really knew what they were doing. Owner David Saunders answered himself & was extremely personable and made time to discuss my carpenter ant problem for quite awhile over the phone. David is not only professional & knowledgeable, but that he truly cares about his client’s needs. He was caring and comforting at a time where there was otherwise a lot of stress and unease. The confidence David exuded in his capabilities had me feeling more than assured. I was amazed at how he methodically hunted down a very well hidden nest. #1 !
Our experience with Paramount Pest Control was exactly what great customer servce entails. After a huge failure dealing with a National pest control company we opted to call Dave Saumders who was refered by a coworker who had recently had a wasp nest removed as well. I have a huge wasp anxiety after being stung twice in my life with a reaction and our male dog who is anaphylaxis we did not want to chance keeping that wasp nest any longer on the property. Dave took the time out of a very busy schedule to deal with it a night. Not only did he take the time to explain the process, he was very knowledgeable, persoanble, and professional. If you are having troubling deciding on a company you should not look any further as the servive provided by Paramount Pest Control was a great experience.
Called Dave after finding out what was thought to be a squirel ended up being a nest of German wasps. Dave came in and was thorough and knowledgable. This merchant was supposed to provide a service between 1pm and 4pm today. He did not show up, and when we contacted him, he indicated he would be at our property to complete the work between 5 pm and 7pm. He still has not arrived, and is not responding to our calls. I can understand that he may be busy, but I had to take time off work for him to not show up. This is a complete waste of both of our time. We are disappointed.
We have used Paramount Pest Control for years and the level of service is still excellent. Dave is very knowledgeable and professional and he gets the job done. This time it was a nest of yellow jackets under our deck. Dave came out at 10pm on a Sunday to kill the nest. Thank you so much.
We discovered we had a gigantic wasp nest in our backyard one evening. We phoned Paramount Pest Control and explained our situation, including that our next door neighbor had severe allergies to bees and wasps. I cannot say enough good things about Paramount Pest Control. I would say that Dave's professionalism and attention to detail, is only matched by his ability to put me and my family at ease. We have 3 small children and making sure we had the right guy to take care of our wasp nest problems was of "Paramount" importance. We called Paramount when we noticed a nest on second floor of our house. David came out that same day and destroyed a large nest of hornets, along with the queen. He then explained their behaviour, how he removed them, and how they won't return to that spot. He even showed our kids the nest and eggs! Several weeks later, we saw hornets around our porch and realized we had new nest in our soffit, which once again David quickly destroyed. He is safe, reliable, fast, and very informative!
We wrote an email on the Paramount Pest Control website explaining our wasp problem. David, the owner, called us literally 30 seconds later. Fastest returned message ever! He arrived about an hour later and promptly assessed and got rid of our wasp nest. We were relieved as I have anaphylactic reactions to stings and we have 2 small children who love to play in our backyard where the nest was. Extremely knowledgeable and efficient!
David removed a large nest of yellow jackets from our yard. When I phoned for his assistance I advised that we were very concerned because my wife was allergic to them. David showed up immediately, explained everything there was to know about the YJs, where to look for future nests and of how lucky I was not to be stung since I had been working within a couple of feet of the nest. Then David removed the nest. David is very polite, knowledgeable, professional and we recommend him 100%.
In July, Dave and his colleague responded within 24 hours to a sudden and numerous infestation of ants into our home. He quickly assessed the situation and carried out a complete and thorough spraying of the outside perimeter of the house and the inside area where the ants were observed. Dave stated that the spraying had a 6 month guarantee and if we noticed any ant activity to call immediately. In September another infestation occurred in an adjacent area of the house. Again, David responded within 3 hours and sprayed the suspect areas inside and outside of the house. Noticing that the likely source of the ants could be in a non-accessible area under a family room concrete floor with no basement, Dave suggested a process that he would do in the spring when the ants would be most active. We will definitely have this done. David's professionalism, fast responses and genuine concern on these 2 occasions was most appreciated by my wife and myself. In this day and age of questionable customer service, it is a pleasure to deal with an individual like David who treats your problem like his own. Thanks David for a job well done.
