The food was bland, but the price was good so I guess it balances out.
The service was very bad though. We stopped inside next to the pie rack, unsure of whether we should procede or wait to be seated. We couldn't see a sign to indicate. A server walked by us and rolled her eyes at us. LOL!
Then another, after about 5 minutes, sauntered by us and with a dismissive flick of her wrist, told us to sit wherever.
After we sat down and ordered, the server was abrupt - actually, she seemed most annoyed to be serving us. She didn't roll her eyes, but she may just as well have - her attitude was so bad.
After we were through (no coffee refill) and sat waiting for our bill, we looked around and saw the server who had flicked us like so much snot to our table. We asked her if she could let our server know we wanted our bill. She barely managed to mutter a 'yes' but she sure did roll her eyes though LOL!
Man, they need to revamp the staff (kick em out if they're not trainable). Or rename the joint...

Well since the last time I reviewed the place, it seems to have gone down hill. I keep going back hoping it gets better, but I fear not. I am afraid the place is in need of a sign that says "under new management" Until I see that, I doubt I will be back. Sad one of my all time favourites, that isn't any longer.
Ok the truth lies somewhere between Angus and Anna's review of this spot. What it does seem is the place is on the major slide. Eggs were cold, coffee was warm and service was ok. Didn't find anything in my food, restrooms were filthy but hey that can be customers as well. I call this, been there, done that, too many other places in town to go back to this one.

asked for ice I guess. I waited for what seemed quite a while, then I looked
at my watch. 35 minutes passed and when I heard a guy upset at the quality of his food being cold I decided, enough is enough. I got up and left. Left a toonie for the pop and history. The guys on campus say this place used to be great. Sure isn't now. Won't be back
