While I have never ventured into the VI late at night, I can say that during the day it is what it is - the local watering hole with THE BEST BEER PRICES IN TOWN! The food is standard, but really.....what were people expecting, exactly!? Service during the day is awesome - Tina is simply wonderful!
worst haloween experience ever!!! All dressed up and nowhere to go... The only reason this place is in business is because there is literally nowhere else to go. There is another post about how the security staff is a problem. It's actually the security manager Will that is a problem. His discretion is way off. His discretion would be the end ofany business that had any competition. None of the staff would give the owners name nor contact info, they are poorly running a club when the owner in not available. When I called to speK to the owner the woman who answered the phone recognized my name from my complaints from the evening and refused to allow me to speak to the owner claiming he was too busy to come to the phone. I am a commercial development advisor working in the core of Toronto with some of the most successful resteraunteers in the city and I can say for a fact that the first thing I would tell this owner (Steve, I discovered) is that Will, the security manager, should be fired and that Steve will be out of business the moment someone with a little business sense opens competition. Spend the money on a downtown Toronto hotel and stay with friends. Don't bother partying in Bradford, it's a waste of time and money heading out to the Village Inn. Geeze Steve, get a grip on your staff.
If the food dosnt turn you off then the girls in the strip bar downstairs will. Truly a waste of money and time. And would you bring your wife or kids to a family restaurant with a strip joint in the basement. I think not!!!
Food was greasy and cold. Service was pleasant and OK - but not concerned about the food quality. Beer was cold in a cold mug, but may have been a bit flat - don't think they serve much draft - they shoulda told me.
Just moved to Bradford and wanted to check out the local places. Went in for dinner and was welcomed very politly and seated and taken care of exellently. The food was amazing along with there service. From my visit that first review posted is very very wrong the security and staff are very attentive and friendly. The live entertainment was amazing the band and dj were phenomenal and i will be retuning many many times in the future.
We love those Village Inn chicken wings! At least once a month!
The best Origional Buffalo Chicken wings and real Blue Cheeese Dip this side of the Border. Great welcoming home town resturant/bar atmosphere with lots to entertainment. Great bar selection. A fun full Place on the weekends.
