Have been there more than 10 times now, above are some of the things I have tried. The service is always great, the portions are always really big, and the food is always great. I have never had a bad experience with anything I've ordered, and find the different sauces very delicious. Bacon carbonara is exceptional I don't know why somebody would say that it is store bought, it is pretty simple to make in the first place. Have had pasta there many times and always great. Will keep going back.

Great little family owned restaurant with AWESOME AWESOME pizza! nice and thin crust with great ingredients - free salad and bread as well with most orders... the only thing lacking was the service
Pasta was so overcooked it was like a pudding. Sauce tasted like the cheap pre-made stuff you get at the grocery store, so was probably not made from scratch. Worst thing is that the staff claimed the pasta was "fresh". Calling pasta that has been cooked in the morning and been sitting in water all day fresh is just a plain lie. Probably one of the worst "italian" restaurants I have ever been to.
My friend and I know pasta. Before dining, we called Pizzaria Italia Restaurant to make certain that their pasta was not pre-cooked, as we can not stand pasta that was cooked hours before and left for mush. Upon arriving, we double checked with the server to verify that the pasta was indeed not pre-cooked. Again, we were reassured that the pasta was cooked when ordered. When we got our meals, both dishes were obviously pre-cooked, as they had the consistency of pudding. This was later confirmed by the cook, who admitted that they pre-cooked the pasta every morning. The sauce was no better and tasted like Ragu. The resolution was a 25% discount on food that was hardly touched. Appalling.
