had a pretty bad experiance
We asked Randall to perform a cleaning on our boiler furnace because Manitoba Hydro indicated that the CO coming from the boiler was too high. Instead of cleaning it Randall performed a number of other repairs, some legitimate and others not. They charged us about $750 for the repairs. When Hydro re-checked the boilers they said that the problem wasn't fixed and the boiler still needed cleaning. Randall did come in and clean the boiler, but then tried to charge us for the 2nd cleaning. I had a discussion about this issue with the service manager. Eventually he agreed not to charge us for the second visit, but it's only because I have a lot of experiance with this type of work and was able to defend my position. If you are familiar with how boilers work you might be able to take a chance with this company - if not, they may be able to take advantage of you.
