Victoria General Hospital

I was sent to the hospital emergency department by my family doctor and also 811 suggested I go...when I got there I was treated like they didn’t understand why I had been sent. They did not address the main issues and were dismissive. Very upsetting visit.

I was with my daughter and grandchild in Emergency on Feb.18th. My grandchild was bleeding so I thought she would have received attention a bit sooner than four hours, but it was quite busy in the ER. What made the experience less anxious, especially for her, was the kindness and attention given by the triage nurse. He was extremely gentle and sensitive to the children in the waiting area and even brought them toys. I could write more, but I hope he receives the recognition he deserves. T.R.
