A place to relax and prepare for the week ahead

Shiloh-6th Avenue is a wonderful congregation full of people from all walks of life. It has a great children and youth program. The music is both modern and traditional. Anyone can join the choir. The worship space is a beautiful 100 year building with amazing stained glass windows. I worship here because I'm able to learn about God, strengthen my own faith and worship with amazing people.

Wonderful Place to Worship

My partner and I had been “church shopping” for several months and were having difficulty finding the right fit for us, but from the first time we attended Shiloh 6th Avenue United Church we knew we had found the right place. Everyone was extremely welcoming and I loved that this church was inclusive. There is a sense of community here and it is a wonderful place to feel grounded and the beautiful heritage building is an incredible place to worship.

I've been going to Shiloh for about two years now and have enjoyed the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I enjoy the opportunity to mix with people of all ages and Shiloh's focus on inclusion of all people, from all walks of life.

I found this church to be a welcoming, easy-going place for spiritual contemplation. Services are light-hearted, full of love and deep reflection. Ancient stories are brought to life with meaning and relevance. The people are inclusive, kind and friendly. It is an Affirming Congregation which is safe and welcoming for QLGBT folks, as well as family-friendly and inclusive of special needs. Women are full and equal participants. All are welcome and differing beliefs are accepted. This is truly a special church.
