The one positive thing was that they were able to get my car in quickly. Otherwise, I was not impressed with the scare tactics used to try to oversell repairs. As a woman, I’m accustomed to having to watch for such things but this one was bad. Added to that was mansplaining from the mechanic who didn’t know that I actually know a lot about cars. I do most of my own repairs. I simply don’t own the device to check for codes when the check engine light is on. That was the only reason I went in.
