Cycling attracts a wide audience, from leisure riders who go out on Sunday afternoons to hardcore racers who compete multiple times a season. Cranky’s Bike Shop in St. Albert caters to riders of all levels, making sure everyone gets the most out of their cycling experience.
Opened in 2001 by longtime St. Albert residents, Andrew and Angela Phelps, Cranky’s Bike Shop immediately became involved in the community through sponsoring local events.
“One of the most important things to us is being a part of the community,” says Andrew. “Being in a city like St. Albert, you can have more of an effect in the community because it’s smaller.” The shop has since doubled in space and added more brands to its stock, but it still hasn’t lost its connection to the community.
