I have always found the staff extremely friendly. Have found some awesome finds. I love the recycle and the fact that all proceeds go to charity. You can't beat that!!
As others have stated, extremely rude staff. I asked a question about a price being different on two near identical items and the staff member (Dare) was very condescending.
I had 80$ worth of goods that I just needed to put on hold for 2 hours and this rude woman at the front gave me instant attitude and treated me like a moron. I think her name was Tuna and she said that it's their "policy" to only hold it for 1 hour even though I'v seen the same bag under the name "tony" with the words "hold please" in behind the showcase for a week now. Completely unprofessional and disorganized. I don't go to value village anyone because of this bad experience.
I waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the jewelry counter; my friend had to do the same thing. while I was waiting in the checkout line another clerk took a customer who had just arrived in the line to another waited so I could state our case. My friend spends at least $200 a month at this stor,.but not any more! the manager was there but did nothing to alleviate the long line situation or see that patrons were taken care of.
