This is the absolute worst branch I have ever been to in my entire life. The staff are always rude and speak very poor English. Yesterday, they made a huge mistake and wouldn't listen to me at all, and instead treated me like a piece of garbage. I actually cried, and it was humilliating. Every month I get a government cheque in my name of course. My address has a certain agency's name in it, because I live in a building for women with children fleeing abuse. So it's a secret address. All of our mail gets sent to a PO BOX with the agencies name in the address, and they pick it up, bring it back, and hand it out to us. Well, I brought the cheque in and first the woman says that itll be held for 4 days. I tell her that cheques from the Alberta Government are NEVER held. So she asks someone else about that Im saying and the other bank 'reller sees my name and ignores that, and instead focuses on how the agency's name is part of my address. I kept trying to explain it to her and even tried to show her how all my mail says their name within the address. she refused to look and didn't believe me. She kept saying "This isn't payable to you, its payable to them" which isn't true. I contacted my worker and she told me to bring the cheque back to her so she can shred it and print me a new one that doesn't say the agencies name within my address since the bank tellers here can't read. This has NEVER happened before. Now I have to take three small sick kids on a bus ride of almost three hours because of this ridiculous mistake. I also kept asking them to speak up because I'm partially deaf and they refused. The women who work there are just the absolute worst and love to degrade people. I loved RBC before I moved mear this branch,
