Dominion Automatic Transmission

Best and most honest mechanic in the city. Third time getting work done at this shop and they continue to amaze me. I had ball joints, ujoints, wheel hub bearing assembly, and axle sleeves replaced on my 2012 Wrangler replaced. I was advised of issues I already knew about but they did not try to upsell me or make up some story which required me to spend hundreds more. I recommend them to all my family and friends. If youre in need of a trustworthy mechanic, take it to them.

They falsely advertised a 2 year warranty. Had them rebuilt my transmission and the torque converter was first defective, then the new converter failed a year later. No worries because their website says they have a great 2 year warranty. Its a lie, only 1 year. They told me the site is wrong ( the whole reasoned I went to them). Then changed their site after I started questioning. Not happy with them. Save yourself the headache. Go somewhere else.

Only place I trust not to over bill

I noticed my transmission starting to slip so I shopped around and Dominion had come in $1000 cheaper than the dealer for a rebuild. Well everything seemed ok the first 10 months until the trans wouldn't go into overdrive. Returned to Dominion for what I thought was going to be warranty work but was told I was over on my mileage (by 1000 km) which was 20,000 km or 1 year. I would not recommend this shop. I spent $5,000 here to get what I thought was going to be a quality repair.

Transmission replace

I brought in my minivan for a transmission replacement and they did a superb job! The service was great, the warranty the best that I was able to find - I recommend this shop if you need tranny work done.
