Firstly, know that you're paying for the food, not the atmosphere. Perfect for what I was seeking that night, but probably not a place to take a first date.
Second NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY. At least as of Feb. 9th 2008, all of the items had meat.
The rice (and sauce) was divine; the chicken was done well; I was less impressed with the xaniid though, it might have just been that night as they are supposedly known for it. It was decent, but not great.
Highly recommended for take-out / student-chow, decent for eat-in.

The food was properly made, and was very delicious. I would definetly go there again. The staff have very strong accents, which I had trouble ordering, but it's not their fault. They just got new renovations done, and it looks very nice. Nothing fancy, but great standards for fast food.

Tout le monde connaît l'endroit à cause des "Obama Cookies" (qui sont d'ailleurs excellents - tout comme le reste de leurs biscuits), mais l'endroit offre aussi un éventail de pains des plus impressionnants. Leurs pizzas sont également très bonnes. Bien situé, dans un quartier vivant. L'arrêt parfait entre deux boutiques!

Been twice in the past month-once for dinner and a lunch. The space is small and has been busy but accomodating on both occasions. You can buy fresh fish to take home from a counter as you come in. They serve a basket of warm little grainy rolls to start along with glasses of water.
My companion's halibut, declared the best ever, sat perched on julliened veggies with a light citrus sauce as the days special. My jumbo shrimps were perfectly done in a garlic sauce. The glasses of wine were more generous than one usually finds.
The fish and chips came with fresh cut fries and a small homemade coleslaw. Nice and crispy. Our only disappointments were a cup of lobster bisque-thin broth vs the creamy concoction I was expecting(Maybe I don't know bisque) and crab cakes which came as two large balls with a uniform minced texture. Hard to tell it was crab but tasted
ok-Generally everything coming from the kitchen looked wonderful.

I go here atleast twice a week. It's my favourite Korean Restaurant in Ottawa. I've beenn to all the others, including the Japanese-Korean ones, but they don't compare. Where else can you go shopping and eat at the same time without leaving the building with A/C on?
